You can still register and post even after the date has passed!

Preparation Period
This is the preparation period for the article posting event starting on December 1st 💪
- Let's create a calendar
- Decide which calendar and date you want to join, and be sure to register!
- It's okay if your article isn't ready yet
- Articles made public on or after the start of the preparation period can be registered to a calendar
- By registering a limited-release article, you can schedule it to be posted on your registered date

Article Posting Event Period
The article posting event starts on December 1st!
- If a calendar is full, let's add a new series to participate!
- Follow calendars you're interested in to read their articles together in your calendar feed
- You can still register and post for a slot even after the date has passed!
- Let's check to make sure you've linked your article for the date you registered!
- Posts for Present Calendars are eligible until December 31st!
FAQ
I'm not sure which calendar to join.
Anyone can join, except for calendars in certain Organization categories and the Solo Advent Calendar category.
Look for a calendar on a theme you can write about, such as a technology you use every day or a field you are interested in.
If you are unsure, joining a Qiita official calendar is also a good option.
How do I create or edit calendars, including Organization calendars?
To create a calendar, follow these steps:
- 1. Click the "Create Calendar" button in the header.
- 2. Enter the calendar's name, URL, category, description, and optional tags.
- *Note: If you want to create an Organization calendar, select the Organization you want to link.
- *Note: You cannot change a calendar to an Organization calendar after it has been created.
- 3. Click the "Create Calendar" button to finish!
For Organization calendars, please note the following:
- ・Only members of the Organization can post articles or add series.
- ・If an article linked to an Organization calendar is a "scheduled post", the Organization will be automatically linked to the article on the assigned date.
To edit a calendar, follow these steps:
- 1. Click "Edit" under the title on the calendar page.
- 2. In the modal that appears, modify the details and click "Update."
*Note: A calendar can only be deleted if there are no participants. To do so, click "Delete Advent Calendar" from the edit modal.

I can't link my article to the calendar.
Limited-release articles cannot be linked in the following cases:
- ・The date is the same as or has passed the date of the calendar slot.
Publicly available articles cannot be linked in the following cases:
- ・The article was made public before the day preceding October 31, 2025 (the start date of Qiita Advent Calendar 2025).

What are the conditions and announcement dates for the Completion Awards?
The conditions for the Completion Award are as follows:
- ・This award recognizes individuals who have posted 25 or more articles.
- ・Only articles posted on Qiita are eligible.
- ・The eligible posting period is from Friday, October 31 to Thursday, December 25.
- ・Posting a total of 25 articles across multiple calendars is also acceptable!
The conditions for the Completion Challenge Award are as follows:
- ・This award recognizes individuals who have posted between 15 and 24 articles.
- ・Only articles posted on Qiita are eligible.
- ・The eligible posting period is from Friday, October 31 to Thursday, December 25.
- ・Posting a total of 15 to 24 articles across multiple calendars is also acceptable!
*Note: Final recipients will be selected after the organizers review and examine the submitted content to ensure it does not include articles that violate the community guidelines (such as those with low reusability or versatility for others, mere notes or rough drafts, or those with insufficient verification of accuracy). Please be aware that we cannot respond to inquiries regarding the selection criteria or results.
The winners of each award are scheduled to be announced at the Qiita Advent Calendar Online Meetup (livestream) on Friday, January 16, 2026, after the Advent Calendar period has ended. An article announcing the winners will also be published on the Qiita Blog.

How can I turn off Advent Calendar notifications?
You can enable or disable the following notifications related to the Advent Calendar from the notification settings:
- ・Notifications for when an article is posted to a calendar you follow
- ・Reminder notifications for calendars you are participating in
