MicrosoftのThe Skills Hub Blogにていくつかの認定資格が廃止になるという記事がありました。
AZ-204,DP-100,AI-900,AI-102,AZ-500,AZ-800,AZ-801のいずれかの認定資格取得に向けて学習中の人は一度確認しておくべきです。

AIカテゴリに移行する資格について
個人的にAZ-204取得に向けて学習していたため、AZ-204がAIカテゴリのAI-200になるのは試験内容に大きな影響があるのではないかと気になった。
その点について以下のようなコメントがあった。

AI-200 focuses on the skills developers need to deliver solutions on Azure with demanding performance and responsiveness requirements. The course covers similar ground as AZ-204, but with a greater focus on code and observability.
AI-200はAZ-204の内容を網羅しつつコードと可観測性に重点を置くとある。
DeveloperロールであってもAI統合は前提のスキルになるということなのだろう。
The Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Cloud Developer Associate Certification is designed for developers who want to validate their ability to build, integrate, and monitor AI solutions on Azure by using containerized compute, vector-enabled databases, event-driven AI pipelines, serverless functions, secret management, and distributed observability. Exam AI-200 beta and training expected to be available in April 2026; exam expected to go live in July 2026.
AI-200の試験は2026年7月に開始予定なので、一旦はAI-200の情報を待ちながら引き続きAZ-204の学習を進めていくで良さそう。

おわりに
AZ-400認定のためにはAZ-104またはAZ-204を取得している必要があるが、これがAZ-104だけになるのかAZ-104またはAI-200になるのかなど、まだ不明瞭な点があるので引き続き情報は追っていきたい。
