When reading a text, whether it's in English or not, it's a good idea to put yourself in the writer's shoes. On the other hand, it is good for writers to write with the reader's feelings in mind.
The easiest way to get a feel for the writer is to identify the words in the sentence that you think are the most important. Or identify some key words or phrases.
