LaTeXで著者のファーストネームを省略したい

plainを使って

\bibliographystyle{plain}

としているとします．
"plain bst"で検索するとplain.bstの中身が得られます [1]．
その中身を新たなbibファイルに貼り付けます．

\bibliographystyle{myplain}

command + Fで文字列の検索画面を出し，"name"と入力します．

FUNCTION{format.names}

が見つかるまでエンターを押します．

s nameptr "{ff~}{vv~}{ll{{, jj}" format.name$ 't:=

を

s nameptr "{f.~}{v.~}{ll{{, jj}" format.name$ 't:=

に変えます [2]．
