Intel Edisonにopkgを使ってRubyをインストールする

More than 5 years have passed since last update.

Intel Edisonにパッケージを使ってRubyをインストールしました。

インストールしたIntel Edisonのバージョンなどは以下の通り。

root# uname -a
Linux edison 3.10.17-poky-edison+ #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue Oct 14 15:19:49 CEST 2014 i686 GNU/Linux
root# cat /etc/version
edison-rel1-maint-weekly_build_16_2014-10-14_14-56-19

opkgリポジトリの設定

/etc/opkg/base-feeds.confファイル、/etc/opkg/intel-iotdk.confファイルを編集してopkgのリポジトリを設定します。

root# vi /etc/opkg/base-feeds.conf
root# cat /etc/opkg/base-feeds.conf
src/gz all http://repo.opkg.net/edison/repo/all
src/gz edison http://repo.opkg.net/edison/repo/edison
src/gz core2-32 http://repo.opkg.net/edison/repo/core2-32

root# vi /etc/opkg/intel-iotdk.conf
root# cat /etc/opkg/intel-iotdk.conf
src intel-iotdk http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/1.1/intelgalactic
src intel-all http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/1.1/iotdk/all
src intel-i586 http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/1.1/iotdk/i586
src intel-x86 http://iotdk.intel.com/repos/1.1/iotdk/x86

インストール済みパッケージの更新

root# opkg update
root# opkg upgrade

Rubyのインストール

opkg install rubyであっさりインストールできます。執筆時点のバージョンは「2.1.4p265」でした。

root# opkg update
root# opkg install ruby
root# ruby -v
ruby 2.1.4p265 (2014-10-27 revision 48166) [i386-linux-gnu]
