XUbuntu: タイピング中、手がタッチパッドに触れてイライラする方へ

環境

  • XUbuntu 16.04 LTS
  • ThinkPad T460s

問題

XUbuntuのデフォルト設定では、タイピング中もタッチパッドが有効です。
そのため、タイピングの途中でフォーカスが外れたり、想定外のところで漢字変換されたりします。

解決方法

以下の設定で、解決できました。

設定→マウスとタッチパッド→「デバイス」タブ→「タッチパッド」タブ→「タイプ中はタッチパッドを無効にする」チェックボックスをON
