今年のAdventCalendarでは、２回目の投稿です。
改めましてよろしくお願いします。
本日は、有志で活動している ＯＳＳスキルスタンダード について綴ってみます。
ＯＳＳスキルスタンダードの活動とは？
ＯＳＳスキルスタンダードでは、サプライチェーンの観点において、どのようなＯＳＳスキルが必要になり、どのような対応が必要なのか、を実務に則って世の中に提供することを目的とした活動です。
現在、私を含め４名で活動しており、それぞれのバックボーンを生かしつつ、和気あいあいに活動しています。
今年の活動の振り返り
今年は下記のような活動をしました。
１ 自社が開発受託および開発委託の双方の立場を取る際のＯＳＳの流れの可視化検討
具体的には、下図のように、自社が開発受託し、さらに、開発も一部を別の会社に対して開発委託するようなケースをもとに議論しました。
各人の知見や知識を生かし、どのような動きが起こり得るかを可視化することで、どのようなタイミングでどのようなスキルを必要とするかの土台とすることができました。
２ ＯＳＳスキルのリスト化
上記における可視化したものをもとに、どのようなタイミングでどのような対応をするべきかをリスト化しました。
各項目の粒度の違いなどや誰に対する成果物なのか、などといったリスト化するまでにもかなりの紆余曲折がありました。
そして、議論を重ねた結果、今年の１１月に５１項目からなるリストを作り上げるところまでできました。
今後の展望
今後としては、今年のアウトプットをもとに他の方々の知見を合わせながら、よりよいものに仕上げていきたいと考えています。
あくまでも４人のメンバーで作り上げたものであり、何とかアウトプットが出たような状況です。
抜けている部分や補足すべき部分を明らかにするためにも、色々な有識者を巻き込みつつ、使い勝手の良いものを皆さまに提供できるよう、努めていきます！
Introduction
My name is Youhei Morita, and I am participating in Openchain activities as a community member.
This is the second post for this year's AdventCalendar.
Today, I will write about OSS Skill Standard, which is a volunteer activity.
What are the activities of OSS Skill Standard?
The OSS Skill Standard is an activity that aims to provide the world with practical knowledge of what kind of OSS skills are required and what kind of response is required from the supply chain perspective.
Currently, there are 4 people including myself, and we are working harmoniously while making the most of each technical backbone.
Looking back on this year's activities
This year we did the following activities.
- Examination of visualization of the OSS flow when the company takes the position of both development contract and development contract
Specifically, as shown in the diagram below, the discussion was based on a case in which the company outsourced development and part of the development was also outsourced to another company.
By making use of each person's knowledge and knowledge and visualizing what kind of movement can occur, we were able to establish the basis for what kind of skill is required at what timing.
2.List of OSS skills
Based on the visualization above, we have listed what kind of response should be taken at what timing.
There were quite a few twists and turns, such as the difference in the granularity of each item, and who the deliverable was for.
After much discussion, we were able to come up with a list of 51 items in November of this year.
Future prospects
In the future, I would like to make it even better by combining the knowledge of other people based on this year's output.
It was just something that was created by four members, and it seems that the output somehow came out.
In order to clarify the missing parts and the parts that should be supplemented, we will work hard to provide everyone with an easy-to-use product while involving various experts!
