CentOS 8にNginx stable最新版をインストール（公式repository）

はじめに

公式repositoryを利用してCentOS8にNginx stable最新をインストール

サポート

本手法で導入した場合、nginxの開発が停止するまでサポートされると思われる。
特定のバージョンを指定しなければ、stable最新版が常に提供されると思われる。

note

• yum-utilsも入れたいたほうが良いかも（本LOGでは入れてない）

sudo yum install yum-utils

• パッケージ名が被っているので無理やり入れてみたけど、これで正しいのかわからない
  • この導入方法のあとにyum updateしてもOS標準バージョンで上書きされることは無い模様
  • 綺麗なインストール方法が案内されるまで様子見が良さそう

インストール

# cat /etc/redhat-release

# yum --disablerepo=AppStream install -y nginx

nginx起動/停止

# systemctl start nginx
# systemctl status nginx

nginx自動起動設定/設定解除

# systemctl enable nginx
Created symlink /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/nginx.service → /usr/lib/systemd/system/nginx.service.

# systemctl list-unit-files --type=service |grep nginx
nginx-debug.service                         disabled
nginx.service                               enabled

# systemctl disable nginx
Removed /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/nginx.service.

# systemctl list-unit-files --type=service |grep nginx
nginx-debug.service                         disabled
nginx.service                               disabled

各種確認

# which nginx
/usr/sbin/nginx

# nginx -v
nginx version: nginx/1.16.1

# yum info nginx
