xcrun: error: invalid active developer path 解決方法

macアップデート後gitコマンドを使用すると・・・

題名にもある通りのエラーが発生！
なぜこのようなエラーが発生するのか調べて見たので備忘録として残しておく。

再現方法・問題点

macOSのアップデートをし、普段どおりgitコマンドを実行したところ

MacBook test % git branch
xcrun: error: invalid active developer path (/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools), missing xcrun at: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/xcrun

エラーが発生。

調べたところxcodeの最新版がインストールされてないのが原因のようでした。

解決方法

下記コマンドの実行

xcode-select --install

そうすると、使用許諾が出てくるので同意します。

インストール後
もう一度実行するとエラーなく解決できているかと思います。
