検索しても中々解決にたどり着けなかったのでメモ。
ChromeでGoogle関連（AdminやFirebase等）のページを閲覧したときに豆腐文字になる現象がありました。
Chromeで指定されているフォントが原因だったようです。
Sans-serif fontがHelveticaになっているので、El Capitanより追加されたHiragino Sansあたりに変更しておきましょう。
[Chrome] > [Preferences...] or ⌘,
直りました。
