ディスク内のパーミッション(アクセス権)を気にせずにファイルシステム全体を検索したい場合

$ sudo find / -name makewhatis -print
Password:
/usr/libexec/makewhatis
$

sudoコマンドを付けずにfindコマンドを実行すると、権限が与えられていないディレクトリ内をfindコマンドが検索しようとして無数のエラーメッセージが表示される。
