まず PHP のバージョンを 5.2.3 以上にする必要があります。
そして PHP_Depend というパッケージに依存しているため、先に PHP_Depend をインストールします。
sudo pear channel-discover pear.pdepend.org
sudo pear install pear.pdepend.org/PHP_Depend
そして下記の手順で PHPMD をインストールできます。
