HomebrewによるTypesafe Activatorのinstall

Homebrewを使用しTypesafe Activatorをinstallしてみます。

環境はmacOS Sierra バージョン10.12.1になります。

Typesafe Activatorのinstall

Typesafe Activatorをinstallします。

$ brew install typesafe-activator

エラーがでた場合

下記のエラーが出た場合にはAppleStoreなどでソフトウェアのアップデートを行います。

A newer Command Line Tools release is available
Update them from Software Update in the App Store.

こちらのエラーが出た場合にはHomebrewなどからJava 1.8をinstallしてください。

typesafe-activator: Java 1.8+ is required to install this formula.JavaRequirement unsatisfied!

You can install with Homebrew-Cask:
  brew cask install java
 
You can download from:
  http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html
Error: An unsatisfied requirement failed this build.

エラー解消後にもう一度

$ brew install typesafe-activator

を行う事でinstallが完了します。
その後は$ activator newでアプリケーションの作成 $ activator runで起動が行えます。
