1. はじめに
表題の通り、Rackware RMMを使ってIBM CloudのClassic Infrastrutureにおける物理サーバーから、VSI for VPCにP2Vで移行してみました。
月額課金の物理サーバーだとコストがかかるので、時間課金の物理サーバーを利用しています。その際、RHELはなかったのでWindows Server 2019で試しました。
とはいえ、物理サーバーとはいえ、IBM Cloud: RackWare Management Module(RMM)を使ったVMware/VSI for Classic環境からのVPCへの移行: Windows編に従って、淡々と設定すれば、特に何も追加の考慮なく移行できました。ここでは、Before(物理サーバー: BMS for Classic)/After(仮想サーバー:VSI for VPC)がどうなったのかをまとめておきます。
