ぼくがかんがえたさいきょうのインスタンス

0.はじめに

小さい頃から、大人になったらありたっけのお金を使って贅沢なマシンを組み立ててみたいなって思いながら、
小学生の頃は、Celeron1GBのメモリを積んで、
中古で2000円で売ってたジャンク品のGT9500のグラボで、
カクカクしながら毎日パソコンを触っていました。

24歳になって、ありったけに使えるお金もあるわけではないが、時代はクラウドに移り替わり、
オンデマンドでサーバーが使える便利なサービスが世の中には溢れています。

お金を使わないでも**「ぼくのかんがえたさいきょうのサーバー」**が作れる自体になったのですが。

とりあえず最強のインスタンスを立ててみようと思いました。

1.最強のインスタンスはどれだ

EC2のインスタンスは、最小構成から始まるnanomicroもありますが、

基本的に高スペックマシンは何かに最適化されたマシンが多く、
GPUだったり、メモリだったり、ネットワークが強かったり、

う~ん、どれが最強のインスタンスなのか。

とりあえず一番価格の高いインスタンスが一番つよいんじゃないのか。

という事でx1e.32xlargeを立ててみる事にしました。

2.最強のx1e.32xlarge

何をするのかも特に決めず、ただインスタンスタイプだけ選んで、いつも使うキーをそのまま使って、起動だけしてみようと思いました。

「2/2 のチェックに合格しました」が出るまでに3分掛かると思ったら、1時間**$38.688だから、待ち時間だけで200円**取られちゃうのか...

とか考えてるうちにインスタンスの起動画面に行きましたが...

まず起動すらさせてもらえない!!!

xインスタンスのデフォルトのvCPU利用可能数は0なので、時給**$38.688x1e.32xlargeのvCPU数は128**....

とりあえずリクエストだけ送ってみるか...
AWS毎月ちゃんと払ってるし、きっと承認してもらえるよね...
Amazonでも毎月6,7万円くらい買い物してるもんね...

申請上限のvCPUに128を入れて、英語が苦手なので申請理由は**「experience」(実験)**って書いてリクエストを送る...

送った後に調べて気づいたけど、**「experience」は(実験)じゃなくて(経験)**だった...

**「experiment」**と間違えてた...

AWSの中の人は、この人を最強のインスタンスを経験したいんだなぁ...って思いながら見てるのかな....

月300万円のインスタンス...起動して気絶しただけで1ヶ月後には300万円の請求が...

果たしてこんな申請個人で通るのか...

26までしか申請下りなかった・・・・
やっぱり**「experience」(経験)**でバカがバレちゃったのかもしれない...!!

x1e.4xlargeで我慢しよう...($4.836/1時間)

ちょっといつもより贅沢なハーゲンダッツくらいの気分...

x1e.32xlargeはもう少し大人になってから...ってことかな。

とりあえずインスタンス立ててみよう。

いやそれでも1時間500円って都心のパーキングくらい高いけどね!?
