railsで.keepというファイルを見かけました。これはgitで空ディレクトリを管理対象に含めるために、作成するらしいです。.gitkeepというのもあるみたいです。
gitでは空のディレクトリは管理対象に含まれないので、.keepなどのダミーファイルを置くことで対策しています。
