はじめに
Laravelはログイン機能を簡単に作ることが出来ますが、デフォルトではバリデーションメッセージが英語になっています。日本語に変更することもできますので備忘録として残していきます。
日本語化の手順
Laravelのメッセージファイルはresources/lang/enにあります。enなので英語ですね。ファイルの中身を見てみるとこんな感じです。

これを日本語に直していく必要があります。
まずはenディレクトリをコピーしてjaディレクトリを作りましょう。そしてja/validation.phpを書き換えていきます。
公式ホームページから日本語のメッセージをコピペできますので丸写ししましょう。
ちなみに、デフォルトではHTMLのinputタグにrequiredと書かれているので、消しておきましょう。
さて、これでバリデーションが日本語化できましたが、まだ少し中途半端です。
nameとかpasswordのように英語が残ってますね。これを変更するためには、validation.phpの最後の方にあるattributesを編集する必要があります。このようにしてみてください。
