とか。
内容は以下の通り。
Amazon Route 53 is providing advance notice of upcoming changes to domain pricing for Route 53 to help you make an informed decision regarding any impending domain renewals.
Starting April 8, 2024, we will be making adjustments to our Top Level Domains (TLDs) pricing. A list of affected TLDs can be found in the 'Affected resources' tab.

The registries managing these TLDs have changed the wholesale prices they charge to registrars like those used by Route 53.
Route 53 is adjusting our retail pricing to account for cost increases.

これらのTLDを管理するレジストリは、Route53で使用されているようなレジストラに請求する卸売価格を変更しました。
Route53は、コストの増加を考慮して小売価格を調整しています。
対象になるTDL（Top Level Domain）は？
全部で250ドメイン近くあるので全て見たい方は記事最下部の参考リンクから飛んでください。
自分が対象かどうかについては Amazon Health Dashboard への通知や通知メールが来ていない場合は対象外と考えていいでしょう（もし通知メール切ってたら知らん･･･）。
有名どころをいくつかピックアップしましたが、.net や .com が対象内なのでかなりの人数が引っ掛かりそうですね。
上が変更前、下が新料金です。
先日自分がLightsailでWordPressを立ち上げた際、 com か net で悩んだ結果安いほうを選びましたが、今回の改定で逆転しちゃった･･･。

何かする必要はある？
ドメイン更新料を少しでも抑えたい場合、前日までに 最大10年分を更新 してください。
あるいは ドメインを変えてください 。
