Claude Model Comparison App - Built with AWS PartyRock

Last updated at Posted at 2026-09-16

Are you using Claude and not sure which model to choose for your task?

That's the exact problem I faced when I first started using Claude. Most people just pick the default, or assume the most advanced model is always the best choice. But does it fit your specific needs?

To find out, I built an AI model comparison app with AWS PartyRock that lets you see the difference yourself, side by side, in one prompt.

What is AWS PartyRock?

PartyRock is Amazon's no-code AI app builder, powered by Amazon Bedrock. Describe what you want, it builds a working app — you can also tweak it manually. No AWS account needed; just sign in with Google, Apple, or Amazon and start building.

It's built for quick experiments. Perfect for exactly this: a lightweight tool anyone on the team can use, zero setup.

What I Built: Claude Model Comparison

With PartyRock, I built Claude Model Comparison app and everyone can try it for free.

With this app you can type one prompt and see how three Claude models respond to it at the same time:

Model Best for
Haiku 4.5 Speed & cost — quick, simple tasks
Sonnet 4.6 Balance — solid all-rounder
Sonnet 5 Depth — complex or high-stakes work

Note: Claude Opus and Fable are not available as model options in PartyRock.

How to use it:

  1. Open the app and type a task or question in the prompt box
Try something simple like "Ramen recipe" or ask it to summarize a meeting minute

  2. Click Play
PartyRock might require you to log in to run your prompt

  3. Compare the three answers — tweak around and explore

What to Look For When Comparing

  • Speed — which one answered first?
  • Depth — did it just answer, or actually reason through the problem?
  • Tone — is it too casual, too robotic, or just right for the task?
  • Length — sometimes shorter is better; sometimes you need the detail

Conclusion

The goal isn't finding the "best" model — it's matching the model to the task. Depending on what you're doing, a cheaper model might actually work just as well.

Hope this article helps. Happy prompting!
