対象
オンプレ IBM PowerSystems 環境でAIX のマイグレーションを NIM (Network Installation Manager) を使用せずに実行したい方
環境
・PowerSystems S824 (VIOS環境)
・対象LPAR: AIXサーバー (AIX 7.2, LPAR名: aixtest)
・HMC 環境
LPAR に ブート・メディア(isoファイル)を割り当てた状態です。
iso ファイルの割り当て方法は以下をご参考ください。
手順
(optional) pre_migration スクリプトを実行してマイグレーション前の状態を取得
・BOS の pre_migration チェックと post_migration チェック

(1) HMC から対象のサーバーのSMSブートを実行
HMC GUI で対象のLPARを選択し、起動オプションでSMS を選択
(2) HMC に CLI でログインし、対象のLPARの vterm を起動

50分弱程度、ファイルセットの置き換え、導入が実行されました。
