せっかく年末休みだし、AWSの試験でも受けてみよ〜と思ったら氏名変更で詰まった話です。解決済。
起こったこと
AWSの認定試験を受けようとビルダーIDにログインしたら氏名が旧姓だった。
Your name on your account must match your name on the photo ID you’ll use at your exam.
If you do not have existing exam history and you do not have an exam scheduled within two days, you can self-service your name change. If the field is locked, contact AWS Training and Certification customer support with your Candidate ID (under your name, top right) to correct your name. Learn more about ID requirements.
認定試験側の注意事項にも「本名で受けること」とある。変更しなくてはいけないようだ。
調べると、試験申し込みしていなければプロフィールを書き換えるだけで変更できるらしい。
なぜか名前欄が灰色で非アクティブになっていて変更できない。
試したこと
こういうことはザラにあるらしい。記載されているサポートに問い合わせてみる。
サポートとは名ばかりでこいつは完全にAI。
IDと変更前氏名、変更後氏名を送っても、堂々巡り。
サポートの返答:「ご自身で編集してください（意訳）」
わたし:「試験予約してないけどなんか非活性で変えられないのでAWS側で変えてほしい」
サポート:「キャッシュクリアとか試してみて」
わたし:「試験予約してないし自分でできるキャッシュクリアなど全部試したけど変更できなかったからAWS側で変えてほしい」
サポート:「ご自身で編集してください」
無限ループに陥ってしまった。
解決方法
AWS Support Centerでチケットを作成して問い合わせる。
（このときはすでにあきらめて試験を申し込んでしまっていたのでそういう文面になっています）
- I have already scheduled an AWS exam, and there are more than 48 hours remaining before the exam.
- I understand the 48-hour name change policy.
- I have tried all available self-service options.
- However, I am unable to edit or update my name in the Profile → Account → Personal Information section.
- Clearing browser cache, using different browsers, and private/incognito mode did not resolve the issue.
- The issue cannot be resolved from my side.
- I would like to request that AWS update my name on my AWS Builder ID.
- I can provide my government-issued ID if required.

上記に、旧姓がわかるマイナンバーカードの画像を添付しました。
数日後返答があり、氏名変更をAWSで無事行ったとのことでした。
見に行くと書き換わっている。はーよかった。
