p(assword みたいなパスワードでmysql clientを使ってログインしようとすると以下のようにエラーとなる
-bash: 期待してない token `(' のあたりにシンタックスエラー
バックスラッシュを使ってエスケープしてやればよい
mysql -u user -h hostname -pp\(assword
