Xcode 7エラー iPadシミュレータが立ち上がらない場合の対処

以下のエラーのように、iPadシミュレータのみ起動しない場合の対処方法

Unable to boot device because it cannot be located on disk
Use the device manager in Xcode or the simctl command line tool to either delete the device properly or erase contents and settings.

上記エラー文に書いてある通りシミュレータのナビゲーションバーから
Simulator > Reset Content and Settings... を実行すると解決します。

原因はおそらく、シミュレータのフォルダを消してしまったためかと思います。
