はじめに
Linux 環境が欲しいと思っていたのと、使わなくなった Mac を有効活用したいと思い、Asahi Linux を導入しました。
Asahi Linux とは
Asahi Linux は、Apple Silicon チップを搭載した Mac に Linux を移植するプロジェクトです。
手順
1. インストールの実行
インストールを実行し、プロンプトの指示に従って進めます。

新しい OS に割り当てる容量を指定します。

この後、レポート云々のプロンプトが出ますが、これは無視して大丈夫です。
シャットダウンするためのプロンプトが出るので、実行します。

シャットダウン後、30 秒後に Mac を起動します。
その際、電源ボタンを長押し、「起動オプション」を表示します。起動オプション画面では、以下の 3 つのボタンが表示されるので、インストールした OS を選択します。
- Macintosh HD
- Fedora Linux with GNOME（インストール時に設定した OS name）
- オプション
次に、macOS 復旧画面にて「復旧するボリュームを選択」し、Mac のパスワードを入力すると、インストール（第 2 ステップ）が開始されます。
インストール時に、ユーザー名とパスワードを求められるので、macOS の情報を入力します。
処理が完了すると、以下のメッセージが表示されるので、再起動します。
Installation complete Press enter to reboot.
再起動後、最初に U-Boot 画面が表示され、その後、Fedora Linux が起動すれば、インストールは完了です。
