Kaliの公式ページを参考にしてブランチを切り替えた後に、下のコマンドによってパッケージリストを更新すれば解決した
$ sudo apt update
このコマンドについては「sudo apt-get update と sudo apt-get upgrade の違いは何ですか?」を参照
