以下で判定できた(Xcode 7.0.1)。

いつからかは正確には知らないが、UIDevice.currentDevice().modelの仕様が変わったらしく(Simulatorという文字列がなくなった)こちらの記事の方法ではうまくいかないので注意が必要。
