プロキシ環境下でemergeを使う

家でInstallbattleしたgentooを学校のプロキシ下で使おうとして少し嵌ったので。

環境変数の設定

とりあえず環境変数を設定しました。
$export http_proxy="http://hostname:port"
この設定でpingやw3mは使えましたが、しかし、emergeができませんでした。

/etc/portage/make.confの設定

それでしばらく嵌っていましたが
make.confに

/etc/portage/make.conf
HTTP_PROXY="http://hostname:port"

を追記することで解決しました。
めでたしめでたし
