基本的にはUTF-8で統一しているけれど、たまにcp932なcsvファイルがあったりする場合、そのcsvファイルのあるディレクトリに.gitattributesファイルを作成して、中に
*.csv encoding=cp932
とか書いておく。WindowsのGit Guiで見ても差分が文字化けしないので、ちょっと幸せ。
