macでtex環境を削除

tex環境をクリーンインストールしたくなり、まずすべて削除することにしました。その作業メモです。

1. MacTeXをアンインストール

公式ページの説明

設定ファイルの場所を確認します。

/usr/local/texlive/2015/texmf.cnf

% (Public domain.)
% This texmf.cnf file should contain only your personal changes from the
% original texmf.cnf (for example, as chosen in the installer).
%
% That is, if you need to make changes to texmf.cnf, put your custom
% settings in this file, which is .../texlive/YYYY/texmf.cnf, rather than
% the distributed file (which is .../texlive/YYYY/texmf-dist/web2c/texmf.cnf).
% And include *only* your changed values, not a copy of the whole thing!
%
TEXMFHOME = ~/Library/texmf
TEXMFVAR = ~/Library/texlive/2015/texmf-var
TEXMFCONFIG = ~/Library/texlive/2015/texmf-config

これらのディレクトリ・ファイルを削除します。

$ rm -rf /usr/local/texlive
$ rm -rf ~/Library/texmf
$ rm -rf ~/Library/texlive

GUI applications を消します。

$ rm -rf /Applications/TeX

Uninstalling the TeX Distribution Data Structure

$ sudo rm -rf /Library/TeX/

関連アプリケーションもアンインストールします。

$ brew uninstall ghostscript
$ brew uninstall --force imagemagick

2. basictexをアンインストール

Homebrew-Cask の basictex がインストールされているかを調べます。

$ brew cask list | grep basictex
basictex

アンインストールします。

$ brew cask uninstall basictex

3. これをやることになったわけ

LaTeX環境をtlmgrでアップグレードしたら古いスタイルファイルの組版ができなくなったため。
