VMWare FusionでKB-84273が出た時の対処法

経緯

VMWare Fusionにubuntuを入れて動かそうとしたときに「KB-84273を参照してください」と言うエラーが発生した。

対処

当初、ubuntu 24.04.3のamd64のisoをドラッグしてインストールを試みていたが、経緯に書いたようなエラーが発生していた。

ドラッグではなく、カスタム仮想マシンを作成>Linux>Ubuntu64ビットARMを選択、

設定からCD/DVD(SATA)を選び、CD/DVDドライブを接続にチェックを入れ、ubuntuのarm64のiso←ここ重要 を指定

その他の起動ディスクでCD/DVDを選択して再起動
