"Any modifications you make will be rolled back on exit" (ここで行ったすべての変更は終了時にロールバックされます) というメッセージにわかりやすく示されているように、コンソールをサンドボックスで起動すると、そのセッションで行ったデータベースへの変更をコンソールの終了時にすべて “ロールバック” (取り消し) してくれます。(引用:第6章　rails tutorial)
