ubuntuでコマンドラインからgitのブランチ名を取得する（アスタリスクは除きたい）

通常のgit branchだと、*が含まれてしまう。

$ git branch
* main

cutで*が取れるが、ちょっと不恰好である

$ git branch | cut -d' ' -f2
main

以下で取れるが、ちょっと長くて覚えられない、、

$ git for-each-ref --sort='-committerdate' --format="%(refname:short)" refs/heads/
main

以下が一番シンプルのように思える。

$ git branch --show-current
main

    --show-current        show current branch name

    -f, --force           force creation, move/rename, deletion
