2025年12月現在 Flutter で BLE を扱う場合、FlutterBlue の後継である FlutterBluePlus を使うのが一般的かと思うのですが、2025-09-21に公開されたバージョン2.0.0から独自の有償ライセンスに移行したようです。
本記事執筆時点（2025-12-23）での最新バージョンである2.1.0では従業員15人以上の営利団体で利用する場合は商用ライセンスの購入が必須となります。
現時点での日本円の価格は ¥158,300 JPY（FlutterBluePlusの全パッケージ利用可、買い切り、365日間のアップデート含む）です。

なお、1.x系のバージョンは引き続き従来のライセンスで利用できます。
（が、現時点では今後本人によるメンテナンスが行われるかは微妙そう → 後述）

有償化の理由については
The goal is to keep FlutterBluePlus free and open for most developers while making the project sustainable for the long term and promoting it's development (read: avoid burnout). Most likely you can ignore this license change and continue using FBP as you always have.
とのことです。
All previous versions remain permanently available under the BSD license, so nothing is being taken away.
ということなので、1.36.8までのバージョンも引き続き公開され修正BSDライセンスのまま利用できるようですが、メンテナンスがどうなるかというところです。
I know changes like this are delicate, and it may or may not work. If it gets forked, that’s fine — the project continues and frees up my time.
とも述べているので、自身で無償版のメンテナンスを継続する意思は（少なくとも現時点では）なさそうに見えます。
余談
まあ大企業のサービスには抵抗なく金を払うくせに、個人開発者のパッケージ/ライブラリを使うのには出し惜しみする、みたいなありかたもどうかとは思うんですが。
