概要
GitHub Enterpriseに登録しているが、ユーザ数の観点でmonthlyの課金のサイクルの詳細がネット上に記載がなかったため、GitHubに問い合わせた。その結果をこちらに共有する。
結果
- GitHub enterpriseにおけるmonthlyの課金サイクルでユーザ数の観点では、GitHubのenterpriseの設定画面から確認できる日にちをベースとして請求が実施される
サイクル基準日の確認方法：
Enterprise > Settings > Billing > Billing欄
例）Your next payment is due March 26, 2024
上記の例でいうと、
26日時点でのseat数（厳密には、アクティブなseat数）をもとに、課金計算が実施される。（つまり、毎月1日から月末までのサイクルではない）
ここで注意なのが、seat数 not = user数であることです。
仮に、10saetアクティブで、9ユーザのみが利用している場合、課金されるのは10seatに対してです。また、ユーザ数を減らした場合、seat数は自動的に削減されないれないため、手動でsaet数の削減が必要となります。

If an account's billing date is 2024-02-15, payment for plan seats would be processed based on the
number of seats on 2024-02-15. Please note the number of seats is not the same as the number of
users.
For example, if 10 seats were purchased for 10 users, then one user is removed from the
organization, there would be 9 users, but still 10 seats. Seats are not automatically downgraded
when they are no longer occupied, as they are often assigned to different members or outside
collaborators at different points in time. Unused seats would need to be manually removed by an
account owner to avoid charges by the next billing date.
