スイッチの候補機種を決めるときに調べるのが面倒な最大VLAN数やテーブルリソースのサイズ比較です。当たりをつけるための表で内容が正確かは無保証です。太字になっているところは特殊な仕様を持つ部分です。提案や導入前に最新のデータシートその他をちゃんと読みましょう。

  • 表中で(T)はその項目の容量が最大となるSDM/ASIC templateでの値。全項目で最大容量が取れるわけではない
  • VRFで(IP serv)や(Adv)などの記載がある項目は特定のOS機能セット/ライセンスを持つ場合に使用可能
  • ルート数はIndirect route最大数=RIB容量。Direct route最大数=ARP table容量は未記載
  • IPv4/IPv6ルートはメモリ領域を共有している場合が多く、従来機種を中心にIPv6ルートがIPv4ルートの倍の容量を消費するケースあり
  • KやM単位で表記してある部分は×1000ベースか×1024ベースかが不明確
  • STPインスタンス最大数やSVI設定可能数はVLAN設定可能数とは別。VLAN数上限まで設定できるとは限らず、仮想ポート数の制約もある
