CentOS8でのLogRotateの仕組みを整理してみた。
- サービスやデーモンで動作しているわけでなく、cronコマンドとcron.dailyとの組み合わせ。なのでサービスの再起動とか不要。
- 前回実行した時間が
/var/lib/logrotate/logrotate.statusに記録される。 - 毎日実行する時間は
/etc/anacrontabにかかれている - cronでなく、手動実行する場合、
logrotate -fv /etc/logrotate.conf
