デフォルトでadministrator@localhostでrvcにログインできない

vCenter Server Appliance 6.5 で rvc を使うには administrator@localhost でログインするってさらっと紹介しているサイトが多いんだけど、デフォルト状態でログインできなくて少し困ったのでメモ。

結論としてはWeb Clientの[管理] - [Single Sigh-On] - [設定] の [アイデンティティソース]タブから使用するドメインをデフォルトドメインとして設定する。

設定後の再起動などは不要。

Command> rvc administrator@localhost
