定義済みマクロ(Predefined Macros)って何?
自分でソースコード中に記述しなくてもビルド時に勝手に追加される(コンパイラが追加してくれる) define のことです。

こんな風に OS や環境に応じて処理を変えたくなるときありますよね。
新しい環境で知りたくなるけど、いつも忘れてしまうのでメモ。
確認方法
$ echo | gcc -dM -E -
または、
$ gcc -dM -E hoge.c // もし hoge.c が存在するならこれでも可。
意味
-dM
プリプロセッサに対して、プリプロセス終了時に有効であったマクロの定義のみを出力するように指示します。-E
オプションとともに使用します。
-E
プリプロセス処理が終了したところで停止します。コンパイルはしません。 出力はプリプロセス済みのソースコードであり、標準出力へと送られます。
GCC はプリプロセスを必要としない入力ファイルを全て無視します。
例
例えば Ubuntu と Cygwin で処理を変えたいときは、

と __CYGWIN__
で判断できます。
