WSL2なubuntuを起動する際に「リモートプロシージャコールに失敗しました」とエラーが出てうまく起動できない問題ですが、2020年10月2日のWindows Insider 向け update KB4578846 にて直っているようです。
これでネットワークの
「\wsl\Ubuntu-20.04」
にもアクセスができるようになっています。
