Students with complex attendance and health challenges shouldn't be left behind. Missing School addresses the learning and social isolation impacts faced by children who miss school because of critical or chronic illness and treatment, such as anxiety, arthritis, cancer, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, heart conditions, injury, ME/CFS, mental illness and rare diseases. Missing School supports children who miss school, their families and their teachers through awareness, resources, capacity building, training, technology, and significant research.
Since 2017, Missing School's Australia-wide telepresence technology service means these kids can see their classmates, have the ability to connect into their classrooms, and have fun with friends.
