はじめに

sam local invoke時に題記のエラーが発生したので、対処法を調べてまとめます。

sam local invoke --skip-pull-image --event .\devfiles\event.json --template .\devfiles\template.yaml
Error: Failed to parse template: 'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0x83 in position 734: invalid start byte

対処方法

template.yamlがUTF-8でなかったので、UTF-8で保存し直しました。
