NSX Security から vDefend への名称変更について

VMware NSX (NSX-T) に関して、2024/5から下記の名称変更があり、確認した内容を記載いたします。

「VMware NSX (Security)」 → 「VMware vDefend」 への名称変更

NSXのオーバーレイ機能に関しては名称変更はなく、ネットワークセキュリティ機能（分散Firewall、ゲートウェイFirewall、IDS/IPS、NDR） に関する名称が「VMware vDefend」に変更された形です。（2024/5～）

  • VMware NSX Distributed Firewall → VMware vDefend Distributed Firewall
  • VMware NSX Gateway Firewall → VMware vDefend Gateway Firewall
  • VMware NSX Network Detection and Response → VMware vDefend Network Detection and Response
