背景
XIAO nRF52840でZephyr RTOSに基づいて作られたファームウェアを書き込んで使用することについて販売元のSeeed Studioのサポートチームに問い合わせてみた。
具体的には
無線機能を持つハードとそれを制御するファームウェアがありそれらセットの条件で認証を受けているという認識で、それらが技適の認証時と異なった条件で使用すると技適マークが無効になってしまうのでは？
という疑問があったのでどういう条件でこのモジュールは技適が取得されたのかということが知りたかったんですよね。
無線も法律もド素人なので問い合わせ内容自体的外れな可能性、あります。
問合せ内容（抜粋）
What firmware was used when testing for technical compliance certification?
If it is not based on zephyr, is there any possibility that using firmware based on zephyr would result in a different radio performance than when the testing to obtain the certification was performed?
If zephyr causes a change in radio performance, it would invalidate the certification.

It seems that Zephyr uses its own BLE stack (BlueZ) for communication, rather than Nordic’s “softdevice”.
- What protocol stack was used for testing during the certification process?
- Or is the certification of this module obtained solely at the physical layer, independent of the software?

- どんな環境(ファームウェア)で技適の認証を受けたのか？
- それとも物理層だけで認証を受けていてこの議論が不必要とかそういうことある？
みたいなことを聞きたかったです。

Here is the reply:
- We used nordic SDK during the certification process.
- The certification of this module obtained solely at the physical layer, so there is nothing to do with the software.
XIAO nRF52840は物理層で認証をとっていて、ソフトは認証に関係ないということらしいです。
