いやほんまに何が違うねんって感じ、ほんまに

結論

AMI：サーバ内のデータ＋ミドルウェア＋OS情報
スナップショット：サーバ内のデータ

要はスナップショットはデータだけ、AMIはデータとインストールしたミドルウェアとOSの構成情報（ログ設定、ホスト名など）もセットでコピーする。
