Microsoftさんには既に報告済みですがMicrosoft Windows AzureのDocumentDBをmongodbプロトコルで利用しようとしたら日本語のUpdateがうまくいかないバグを発見したので共有。
なお、通常のmongodbに接続すればうまくいきます。

Microsoft側で不具合を確認したので、2017/1月末までに修正されるということです。
