を参考にインストールを試みたが、少しつまずいたので記録を残しておく。
（体裁は後から整えるたぶん）
$ brew cask install basictex
$ brew install ghostscript
$ sudo tlmgr update --self --all
ここでつまづく。
tlmgr command not foundと言われてしまう
どうやらPathを通す必要があり。

が参考に下記を実行
$ sudo /usr/local/texlive/2019basic/bin/x86_64-darwin/tlmgr path add
がそれでもsudo tlmgr update --self --allが実行できず、
cannot contact mirror.ctan.org, returning a backbone server!
と言われてしまう。リンク切れか何かか？

を参考に、下記を実行
$ tlmgr --repository=ftp://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/mirrors/ctan/systems/texlive/tlnet
update --self --all
ただし、ルート権限でやる必要があった。
これでようやくTex Liveが最新版に。
