最近のLinuxの不自然にでかいフォントをなんとかする方法

発症機：Fedora 20/19, CentOS/RHEL 6.5/5.10

検証：VMware，Fedora20

FedoraでWindowsライク仕様の夢をみたので…

すごく、…大きいです

Fedoraさんに育てられたので、UbuntuとかVineとか浮気したけど本妻はFedoraなんだからねっ！
というわけで、X Window Systemのフォントがやたら大きいのでWindowsと同じおおきさに矯正したい…
調べたらdpiを調節したらいいらしい。

xdpyinfoというコマンドで調べられるらしいが、100という異常な値。
結果、75に落ち着いた。コマンドでは、startx --dpi 75 とすればいいらしい…

設定：/etc/X11/Xresources

startx --dpi 75 とするのはランレベルいじっている輩なので普通にGUIで入る場合は設定ファイルをルートでviします。

Xft.dpi: 75

! hintstyle: medium means that (for Postscript fonts) we

Xft.hinting: true

フォントがWindowsと同じサイズになったっ！
ヒャッハーッ！！
