RDSを使ってrailsでmigrationしたら文字化けした

show create table テーブル名 \G
で確認すると

DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1

になっていた

その場合

mysql>alter database DB名 default character set utf8;

でやったあとmigrateすればOK
