homebrew-cask から Java8 をインストールする

問題点

下記の記事を参考にインストールを試みたが、単純には入らなかった。

% brew cask install adoptopenjdk8
Error: Cask 'adoptopenjdk8' is unavailable: No Cask with this name exists.

調べてみると、 homebrew から Java8 をインストールする方法は最近色々と変遷があったらしい。

解決方法

adoptopenjdk のリポジトリの手順に従ってインストールした所上手くいった。

brew tap AdoptOpenJDK/openjdk
brew cask install adoptopenjdk8
