ここからダウンロード。
そこの pdf にある "Connectの機能"の転送サーバにログインして1、適当なサンプルで動作確認。
safari では普通に動作するが、最近の Google Chrome では以下のセッティングをする。
ここの説明通り、
chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
にアクセスして、有効に。

${HOME}/.aspera/connect/bin に ascp が出来るので、パスを通す。
NCBI
nr nt などのデータベースを落すのに2。
$ ascp -qT -l 200M -i ${HOME}/.aspera/connect/etc/asperaweb_id_dsa.openssh anonftp@ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov:blast/db/nt.01.tar.gz.md5 ~/
- -i はフルパス。
動作確認が取れたら、一週間に一回などのペースで md5 ファイルのチェックして、更新されたものを自動的にダウンロードして云々。
NCBI はアクセス過多だと遠慮無くアク禁登録する。心証を良くする意味も込めて、スクリプトは適度に sleep させるのを忘れずに、、、
